Marconi Associates partnered with a leading SCM company looking to G2M in NA. Headquartered in Europe, the company is a Post B round venture with over 300 employees worldwide.

The Challenge

Marconi Associates was tasked with searching for an experienced sales leader based in NA with an outstanding background in the automation industry. Our client brief required an individual with a long track record of building high performing enterprise teams that can tackle the retail market at scale. It was also imperative that this individual had both large company and start-up background experience.

With the talent pool being limited due to the strict requirements, our team of Account Managers showed their value quickly with this assignment due to their extensive connections in such a niche sector. We worked closely with the CEO to deliver not only the candidates, but the data surrounding where the talent is, the research that went into the project, how we positioned the company’s value proposition to the candidates and how to properly screen and assess these candidates to assure they are a good fit culturally and experience wise.

The Solution

After an extensive search and interview process spanning globally, including on-site visits from NA to Europe and meeting key board members, Marconi Associates completed the assignment by leading the company to appoint an outstanding Sales Leader in the industry. Since their appointment into the group, they played a crucial role in helping secure the company’s next funding round, as well as signing two tier one retailers.
